In Autumn 1 we settled in to school happily and made our own handprint robins and kingfishers to decorate the windows as well as our own self portrait magnets. We enjoyed exploring our outdoor areas and learning all about autumn. We supported Macmillan with a cake and coffee afternoon with our families and celebrated World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow. We learnt all of the single sounds in our Read Write Inc Phonics lessons and practiced our handwriting through lots of fine motor and writing activites. We did lots of counting and understanding number in our Maths lessons, and enjoyed different activities in provision. We started My Happy Mind, focusing on being ready for school and celebrated Harvest by creating a giant cereal dominos trail and singing songs in church. We had a lovely first half term in F2 at Greasby Infants and we can't wait to see what else is in store for us!
